The Board of Directors of BNP Paribas applies the internal rules adopted by the Board of the former BNP in 1997, which have been updated from time to time to take into account new legal and regulatory requirements. The rules have also been updated to reflect the various recommendations concerning corporate governance as well as decisions of the Board aimed at following best practice in this area.
